Description MAGICAL CANDLELIGHT NIGHT IN THE HISTORIC VILLAGE OF KINDERHOOK.

SNOW OR SHINE!

Luminaries light the way through this charming village as horse-drawn wagon rides with caroling take you on a nostalgic trip through history. Celebrate the season with live music for the holidays: jazz, oldies, Baroque, choral, organ, and caroling. Featured musicians include Adirondack Baroque Consort, Betsy and the Bygons, David Smith, Organist, Members of the Broad Street Chorale, Nat Phipps Jazz Trio, Sax-O-Klaus. Stroll along and visit local merchants that feature artisan holiday gifts and holiday cheer. For kids there are live horses and ponies, Santa and Mrs. Claus, Tots the Clown, Elf on the Shelf, and face painting. Take tastings of local craft spirits and wines from Yankee Distillers, Albany Distilling, and Brookview Station Winery. Visit Kinderhook’s historic churches and sites and view historic collections.

There’s food out in the square, including freshly popped kettle corn, hot chestnuts, hot chocolate, warm food for a chilly night from local restaurants – Riverview Cafe, D’Arcy Butters, and local organizations, including Northern Columbia Lions Club, and food truck Pippy’s Hot Dog Truck (weather permitting), hot apple cider and doughnuts. Visit local restaurants and cafes – Broad Street Bagel Co., Carolina House, Dyad Wine Bar, Eat. Sip. Smile, and The Flammerie – serving full dinner menus, desserts, fine wine and local craft beer, and the best bagels in the Hudson Valley.
