LISTEN UP! Webcast Presented by Koppett and ATD Everyone from senior organizational leaders to salespeople to spouses knows that listening is a key skill necessary for understanding issues, uncovering needs, and building successful relationships. But what does it really mean to listen well? How can we grow our listening “muscles” rather than just talk about listening? How can we exercise that muscle so we notice more, understand more deeply, and engage with more curiosity? Luckily for us, improvisers have answers to these questions. Improv is the listening gym. Join us on Thursday, April 20th, 2017 from 1:00pm- 2:00pm for our webinar where we will: test our listening skills, distinguish “listening as a friend” from “listening as a foe,” define multidimensional listening and explore listening as a relationship-building and problem-solving tool. Be sure to join us for this interactive webcast on improv-ing your listening skills. Register here http://webcasts.td.org/webinar/2223 or email email@example.com for questions.

This event welcomed over 330 association and corporate planners from the DC, Maryland and the Virginia region and promoted 150 destinations. – NYSAE Meet NY; Marriott Marquis, New York City. This event hosted about 200 planners – primarily association – as well as corporate and third party planners. This show was hosted by about 60 hotels and destinations from across the country. – NECVB Reps welcome luncheon; R Lounge @ The Renaissance Times Square Hotel, New York City. This unique group is a smaller organization representing CVBs with destinations primarily here in the northeast (Northeast CVB Reps). This event was held in conjunction with NYSAE MeetNY as an invite-only networking lunch prior to the main NYSAE event (happening across the street). Thanks to our Kayla – our office managed the invite list and RSVP process which provided us with an invite list of over 330 NYC planners! Our 15 participating NECVB Reps destinations ultimately hosted about 45 planners for this very successful presentation and lunch program.
