A Cup of Joe or a Spot of Tea?

Whichever freshly brewed beverage you enjoy, A Cup of the Valley Coffee and Tea Festival is sure to please your taste buds! Spend a day on the campus of the world’s premier culinary college, The Culinary Institute of America, on April 28th to sample delicious coffee from local roasters, shops and cafes and sip tasty teas from local purveyors, shops and specialty markets. Participate in a Japanese Tea Ceremony, watch the latte art competition, witness the steampunk sport of tea dueling and more.

Spotlight: Shady Knoll Orchards & Distillery

A new micro-craft farm distillery and tasting room is opening this spring in Millbrook! Beginning May 4, make an appointment at their tasting room and enjoy their high-quality, specialty craft distilled spirits from their French alembic still made using their homegrown apples and rye. Make sure you try all of their products, including the Apple Brandy, Apple Cider and Whiskey.


Celebrate Pete Seeger’s 100th Birthday at The Bardavon

On May 5, enjoy performances of more than 20 of Pete’s beloved songs, from children’s tunes to activist anthems. The show features a variety of dance styles, historical photos and recordings to take viewers on a journey through American history.
