3rd Annual Walkway Marathon: June 10 & 11
This year marks the 3rd annual Walkway Marathon
, attracting runners from near and far. At 1.25 miles long and 212 feet high, The Walkway Over the Hudson
is the longest, elevated pedestrian bridge in the world and is one of our top attractions. The weekend encompasses more than just full USATF Certified races, kicking off on Saturday, June 10th with the ThinkDIFFERENTLY Dash, a one mile run/walk for those with physical and developmental disabilities. This highlights our #ThinkDIFFERENTLY initiative to make our county a place where people of all abilities are welcome.
Sunday, June 11th brings the full marathon and half marathon, each of which traverses The Walkway Over the Hudson, plus the College to College 5K, which highlights Dutchess Community College and Marist College. The tree-lined landscape and majestic Hudson River views make these races truly unforgettable.
