New Year’s Eve 2018

The 22nd Annual Price Chopper/Market 32 Capital Holiday Lights in the Parkdrive through runs until January 2, 2019. The 2018 edition of the Price Chopper/Market 32 Capital Holiday Lights is an all-new, drive-through spectacular with more than 125 displays and scenes in Albany’s Washington Park.
Presented by Mayor Kathy Sheehan, the people of the City of Albany and Albany PAL, this year’s show depicts holiday scenes of yesteryear and many new & exciting lighting displays.
At the end of your drive through the Lights, the Washington Park Lake House comes alive. Join your favorite reindeer and friends as they bring fun and mystery to the holiday season. The Lake House is filled with crafts and refreshments. 
Hours are Sundays through Thursdays from 6 to 9 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 6 to 10 p.m. Admission prices are $20.00 per car, $25.00 for 10-18 passenger vehicle, $50.00 for vehicles containing 19-28 passengers, $100.00 for school buses and $125.00 for commercial coaches, with all proceeds benefiting the youth programming of Albany PAL. (Credit or debit cards are not accepted for admission)
The best part of the 22nd Annual Price Chopper/Market 32 Capital Holiday Lights in the Park is that all proceeds benefit the juvenile crime prevention programs of the Albany Police Athletic League (PAL)!

New Year’s Eve Bash with Funk Evolution
On Monday, December 31, the Capital Region’s premier horn-fueled party band, Funk Evolution, will wow guests with their unique and high-energy musical stylings at Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady. Funk Evolution has toured all throughout the United States, and has also played at some of the world’s most famous venues. This funkadelic dance party will be the perfect way end 2018 and kick off the new year. Each admission will include two drink coupons, a buffet of small bites, as well as an unforgettable dance party!
