Do you know a rising young culinary star? Here’s a chance for children aged 6-9 to learn in the kitchen with Chopped Champion Chef, Dafna Mizrahi of Monte’s Local Kitchen & Tap Room in Amenia. This 7-week program focuses on kitchen safety, knife skills, reading and understanding product labels, while supporting area farms and gardens. School-aged chefs enjoy making their own culinary creations with their favorite local, in-season ingredients. The kids learn how to style their dishes, write recipes, and even create their own cookbook. The 1½ hour sessions start on Feb. 25th for the cost of $210 per child.
