Monday, April 22, 1-4 pm, How to Use Local Produce with Field Notes NY
Launched in 2018, Field Notes NY consists of two school and industry educated chefs, Joan Porambo and Kyle Macpherson, who have teamed with Lansing Farms in Colonie, New York to create unique dishes using crops from the Lansing Farms fields. Field Notes host weekly dinners on the Lansing farm on Saturdays in the summer in addition to assisting Farmer Al in his crop-growing. Stop by Riverside Maple Farms on April 22 from 1-4 pm to talk with Joan and Kyle about how to use local produce in cooking and purchase some of their signature dishes featuring Riverside Maple Farms’ syrup.
Wednesday, April 24, 10 am – 12 pm: Make Cotton Candy with Riverside Maple Farms
Spend your spring break with Riverside Maple Farms! Ever wonder how we make our famous cotton candy? Stop in on Wednesday, April 10 from 10 am to 12 pm, you can join our staff and learn how we make this delicious treat. For just $7, you can help spin and bring home a bag of one of our best selling products.
We will also be offering free tours of our farm and tastings of our four grades of maple syrup. Don’t miss out!

April 20, 27, 28, 10 am to 4 pm: The Mac Factor at Riverside Maple Farms
Enjoy a bowl of mac and cheese from area favorite food truck, The Mac Factor. From 10 am to 4 pm, they will be dishing up some of your favorite cheesy comfort food including a special maple mac known as the Adirondack. Bring the family and get your mac and cheese on!
