12th Annual Empty Bowls Project

Attend the 12th Annual Empty Bowls Project fundraiser in Troy on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at the Italian American Community Center on 5th Avenue in Troy. The event raises awareness for the issue of hunger while filling empty bowls and bellies with great soups and stews. Admission through presale tickets is $15.00 and $20.00 at the door. Each person selects their bowl and then has it filled with their soup of choice. Beer, drinks, and dessert are also included in the admission fee.

There is ample room at the Italian Community Center to sit, eat, and enjoy the music that will be provided and the company of others. At the end of the meal your bowl will be washed and returned to you so you can take the bowl home as a reminder that every day there is hunger in our world. All proceeds go to area food programs.
