August & September volunteer opportunities at The Linda!

Thanks for letting us know that you are interested in volunteering at The Linda, WAMC’s Performing Arts Center. We have a number of volunteer opportunities this August and September at The Linda. Click on the buttons below to see the details regarding each event and then register if you are interested. Please note that volunteers must provide a name, email address and phone number so we can contact you. Volunteer opportunities at The Linda are limited so please pull out your calendar now and check your availability. Questions? Call Colleen O’Connell 800 323 9262 ext 171What you’ll be doing: You should plan to arrive 30 minutes before the doors open and stay approximately 30 minutes afterward. Attire is dress casual: no shorts, t shirts, ripped jeans or sweat pants. Black clothing on volunteers is preferred. You’ll be taking tickets, helping with concessions, providing directional assistance, checking on the general cleanliness of the venue, posting on social media, taking photographs and other general, light duties as requested by the house manager. After the event, you’ll be helping to clean up and break down.

If you volunteer at an event, you’re invited to attend the next Food For Thought screening FOR FREE! Food For Thought is a monthly evening of food, film and discussion with a focus on films of social, political, environmental and community interest. Held on the third Thursday of each month, the night features food samples by Honest Weight Food Co-op, a feature film screening, and an open panel discussion.
