Run for Heroes and 40th Dutchess County Classic
Save the date of Saturday, June 9th for the Run for Heroes 10K, 5K, and Kids’ 1 mile races at Gold’s Gym in Poughkeepsie. It benefits local veterans’ programs. Sunday, Sept. 16th brings the 40th Dutchess County Classic with a half marathon, 5K and kids’ 1-mile, at the Lagrange Town Hall to benefit United Way of Dutchess-Orange Counties. Both are presented by The Mid-Hudson Road Runners Club.
Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro said, “We look forward to showcasing the 40th Anniversary of the Dutchess County Classic in September, and Run for Heroes race this spring. We’re pleased the race, which honors local fire, EMS, police, and military, features the award-winning Dutchess Rail Trail and aligns with our Year of the Veteran celebrations.”
