Preparing Afternoon Tea at the Jones Farm

“Under certain circumstances there are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea.” So wrote American author Henry James in the first chapter of his revered novel, “Portrait of a Lady.” Using a sampling of recipes and techniques from the nineteenth century, you will prove him right by preparing and enjoying a most agreeable afternoon tea. Ages 16 to adult.
