Hudson Valley Restaurant Week

Hudson Valley Restaurant Week (HVRW) returns November 1-13! For two weeks, enjoy special three-course dinner menus for $29.95 and 3-course lunches for $20.95 (+ beverage, tax & tip). Enjoy an epicurean dinner at one of 30 participating Dutchess restaurants; there are 230 altogether. It’s a wonderful way to try new places! Restaurants submit their menus to be posted online. Have fun reading about all the appetizing dishes!

A Gathering of Old Cars is set for Sunday, October 16, from 11 am – 4 pm at Staatsburgh State Historic Site. See classic cars in a Great Gatsby setting during peak leaf peeping season. This annual event, now in its 30th year, is one of their most popular! It’s free to browse the classic cars outside; there’s a charge to tour the Gilded Age mansion. For info call 845-889-8851. Staatsburgh SHS and Mills-Norrie State Park are located on Old Post Road in Staatsburg.
Don’t miss this delicious daylong event on Saturday, November 5! Savor chocolate tastings, cooking demos, a cook-off, stroll among plenty of vendors, and take part in special events throughout Red Hook. Red Hook Public Library hosts the Chocolate Olympics including Whopper Relay, Chocolate Unicorns, Kisses & Mittens, and Bobbing for Donuts.
