From pretend play to creating a play! In this camp, we’ll explore drama through improvisation, beginning with stories we all know and ending with the creation of our own skit to perform. Come with your imagination and creativity ready – because you will develop the story, create the characters, and come up with the lines! We’ll also be exploring various styles of dance and music. Maybe your character dances, sings, or both. It’s all up to you!

Where did the famous Van Gogh painting go? Sunflowers is the only famous painting of Small Lake Museum and it’s been stolen! Will four not-so-clever detectives be able to recover it and find the thieves? The clues lead them to castles and wild African plains, to volcanoes and desert towers! If they do find the painting, will it be in time to save the museum from becoming a parking lot? What will happen to the two young painters who want so badly to show their art? Will the news media help or hurt the museum’s chances of survival? And the poor curator, where will she go if the painting isn’t found? The play, Where in the World did the Van Gogh Go?! is full of questions, zany characters, entertaining situations, and surprising answers.
