Annick Ebersole is the owner and creator of Annick Designs, a retail storefront in downtown Troy which is celebrating their five year anniversary as a brick and mortar storefront on Friday, April 28th from 6:30p.m. until 8:30p.m. The event will offer live music by DJ Intell Hayesfield, refreshments, fun giveaways and discounts!
Annick has been in business, designing and selling her own jewelry line for 22 years, and the storefront showcases not only her own work, but other local artists. Annick Designs carries artisan jewelry, paintings, blown glass, as well as stained glass and an extensive collection of museum quality, mineral specimens, fossils, crystals and home decor which incorporate stones.

Downtown Troy Spring Cleaning

8:00am to 12:00pm
Business owners, employees and residents are encouraged to work together on Friday, April 28th, in an effort to clean the blocks and alleyways around their storefronts, office building, or apartments.
Step outside and lend a hand to weeding tree pits, flower beds and planters along with cleaning sidewalks and alleyways. In addition, different areas of the district are welcome to determine specific projects they would like to focus on for the morning. The Downtown Troy BID will pair you with a spring cleaning leader and provide needed supplies to beautify our city!

This is a juried, indoor showcase of original works featuring the Northeast’s top artists and craftspeople. All proceeds of this event benefit the Arts Center of the Capital Region. This two-day indoor show is located at the Arts Center of the Capital Region.

Brewing delicious coffee at home can seem like equal parts guesswork, mystery and witchcraft. On Monday, May 1st , Superior Merchandise Co. would like to demystify the process with another installment of their Coffee School educational series – Brew Better at Home.
This class will break down the basics of coffee brewing, offering a wide variety of tips for folks seeking more out of their morning cup. Topics such as water, grinding, what to measure and how to select the right brew method for your household will be covered as well as a wide-open question and answer session for folks with detailed concerns.
Class size is limited to 10 and will fill up quickly. Attendees will take home printed class notes and also receive 10% off all store merchandise during the hours of the class.
